Hosting and access data
This static website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the website is accessed, IONOS processes technical access data required to deliver and secure it. According to IONOS, this includes the referrer, requested page or file, browser and browser version, operating system, device type, time of access and an anonymised IP address used to determine the approximate location. IONOS states that these data are anonymised when collected and are also processed through WebAnalytics as part of its Webhosting product. Depending on the hosting contract, access data may be retained for up to eight weeks.
The processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the reliable, secure and technically correct provision of the website. IONOS processes hosting data on the controller's behalf.
Contact by email
If you contact me by email, I process the information you provide to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the communication concerns a contract or steps before entering into a contract; otherwise it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. The information is deleted when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a legal retention obligation applies.
Cookies and external services
The website operator does not deploy additional analytics, tracking, cookies, contact forms, embedded third-party media or externally hosted web fonts. Host-level processing by IONOS is described above. Links to external websites are ordinary links; data is transferred to their operators only when you follow a link.
